Candelabra Tree Cactus
Description
Latin Name:
Euphorbia Ingens
Short Description:
The Candelabra Tree Cactus is actually a succulent tree (not technically a cactus), with thorns instead of needle spines. Our Candelabra Tree plants are extra large (3-4 ft.) premium specimens, shipped bare root.
Description:
Native to the dry, hot regions of southern Africa, the Candelabra Tree is a succulent “cactus” tree that grows tall and wide, with columnar stems branching out from the trunk in varied shades of yellow-green (depending on sunlight and age). The “branches” of the tree give each plant its own unique shape but overall, it remains largely upright and compact. Planted indoors, the Candelabra tree requires very little care and adds an eclectic, boho-chic design element to any interior space. Planted outdoors, the Candelabra Cactus can become enormous, slowly reaching over 30 feet.
Care:
The Candelabra Tree craves full to partial sun and fast draining, course-blend cactus soil. Plant indoors in a bright, sunny environment (ideally near an east or south-facing window). Water every few weeks in spring and summer months and refrain from watering in colder winter months. For a more detailed, com:prehensive care guide for the Candelabra Tree Cactus click here.
